Archbold Fall Festival

Where: Glass Pieces Studio, 106 N. Lincoln, West Unity, Ohio.
Time: 10 am - 12 noon.
Ages: 7 & up.  (Children under the age of nine must participate in the workshop with an adult.)
Cost: $40 per person or $60 for child and parent together.
Instructor: Michelle McKinney

During this workshop, we will try our hands at working on the potter's wheel, as well as creating some interesting projects through traditional hand-building techniques. We will also have a chance to let the participants give their projects an extra shpecial touch by trying various glazing methods.

Class space is limited to eight to help insure that each participant receives plenty of instruction and assistance throughout the workshop.

October 11,13, 18 & 20 Kids Take the Stage and Unarmed Stage Combat

Students will have fun learning basic acting technique, scene develpoment and even some unarmed stage combat through hands- on instruction.  Students will then work together to create characters, scenes and their final acting projects. Enrollment is limited to 20 students.

Where: Archbold Community Library, Archbold, Ohio.  Community Room
Ages: 6-12

A retail gallery with special hours during the 2011 holiday season.  Offering works from area artists and special events featuring area performing artists- dancers, musicians, and poets.

23rd annual Toledo Symphany Ochestra Concert

The Black Swamp Arts Council and Sauder Village are pleased to welcome back the ToledoSymphony, under the direction of Jeffery Pollock.

This year's program will feature a mixutre of classics, orchestral show pieces, a medley of frontier songs, expertly arranged medleys from the 1920's and violin soloist Thomas Stuart.  The concert will be sure to delight music lovers of all ages!

All seats for the performance are reserved.
